Sapa Vietnam - Travel to Sa Pa Vietnam

Sapa town  is located in the Northwestern Vietnam on the altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level,  376 km from  Hanoi and 38 km from Lao Cai. Apart from the main road from the city of Lao Cai, there is another route that connect to Sa Pa is the Highway 4D from Binh Lu, Lai Chau.

The name SAPA called from Mandarin. Mandarin called Sa - Pa, "Sa" is sand, "Pa" is the beach. The landmarks "sands" is on the right side on 34th km from Lao Cai to Sapa. In the old days, this “sandy beach” was the marketplace of all the residents in this area. As a result, the local residents called "going to the market of Sa Pa".
